Want to feel more confident? Here’s a secret: you can literally run, walk, or stretch your way to it. By moving your body and staying physically active, you boost not only your health but also your confidence.

As a coach, I don’t give advice—I ask powerful questions to help my clients tap into their own wisdom. When I ask, what can you do to become more confident? the most common answer is: hit the gym more often.

Do you work out regularly? Making fitness a daily habit has so many benefits:

✅ Boosts mood and mental health

✅ Improves sleep and energy levels

✅ Helps clothes fit better and increases body confidence

When you feel good in your own skin, you naturally feel more capable of tackling life’s challenges 💪🏽

“But I’m so busy…”

Sound familiar? Between family, career, and everything else, finding time for fitness can feel impossible. But here’s the truth: Nothing is more important than your health.

💡When you prioritize yourself and work out consistently, you show up better for your loved ones and your career. Even a few minutes a day can make a difference. Take a walk, do yoga, or go for a swim. Not only will you feel better, but you’ll also set an example for your family to prioritize health.

My fitness journey

Since my early twenties, fitness has been a cornerstone of my life. From spin class to skiing, yoga to hiking, I’ve done it all. My favorite workout? Hiking Grouse Mountain’s “Grouse Grind”—aka Mother Nature’s Stairmaster. After climbing a mountain, I feel unstoppable, ready to take on whatever the day throws my way ⛰️

Tips to stay accountable

Starting is the hardest part, but here’s how you can make it easier:

👟 Start small: like James Clear says in Atomic Habits, begin with tiny steps. Wear your workout clothes for 30 minutes a day, even if you don’t exercise.

📈 Build gradually: start with just 2 minutes of movement daily, then increase as it becomes a habit.

👯 Find an accountability partner: share your fitness goals with a friend or coach who can help you stay on track.

🗓️ Track your progress: use a journal or app to celebrate small wins and see how far you’ve come.

Your very life depends on it

Your body was designed to move. By staying active, you’ll be healthier, happier, and more confident—not just for yourself but for your family and community ⛹🏽

What small step can you take today to move more? I’d love to cheer you on!
