Self-actualization is the process you go through to reach your full potential. It’s one of the 15 Emotional Intelligence competencies. If you score high in self-actualization, you find purpose and enjoyment at work and are performing to your full capacity.

But what if you are unproductive and restless at work? You may not be living your purpose. This can make it hard to inspire your team to perform and may hurt innovation and progress throughout the organization.

Self-actualization is a strong human need. It’s an innate, relentless drive pushing you to become the best version of yourself 🚀

According to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, human needs are organized into a pyramid. Basic physiological needs are at the base followed by safety, love, belonging, and esteem. Self-actualization is at the top. Once your foundational needs 🏠 are met, you can focus on the higher-order aspirations that define your unique potential.

One of my clients, a Senior Network Engineer, experienced severe burnout at a toxic workplace and was left with no sense of purpose. After completing my Confidence Coaching program, she found a new job at a company more in alignment with her values. She recently got a promotion and is now living her value of service in her new leadership role 😍

It’s taken me a long time, but I’m happy to say I’ve never felt more fulfilled. My purpose is to help you build confidence in yourself.
