🎤 What a thrill to speak at Vancouver Startup Week again this year!
Last week, I stood in front of a jam-packed audience of 60+ people at Vancouver Startup Week, mic in hand for the first time ever (I usually just project my voice so I can gesture freely!)

I shared my story—vulnerably, honestly, wholeheartedly 💔
🎤 And I conquered a lifelong fear: public speaking
I’ve come a long way from the woman who used to panic at the thought of being on stage. To now leading a session called Fearless Founders? Wild 🔥
The energy in the room was electric. The audience leaned in. And afterward, someone said:
“Your talk today was one of the most memorable talks at VSW for me. Thank you for doing the work that you do.”
❤️ That’s why I do it. That’s what fills my cup.
Right after the session, I raced to catch a ferry and spent the weekend in my happy place—the Sunshine Coast 🌄
🐻 Nature, hiking, peace, discovery, reconnection with old friends. I saw a bear, a deer, a hawk, a coyote, and some sheep. The universe was putting on a show.

And somewhere between the sound of the waves and the stillness of the forest, I found myself thinking:
“Is this the life I get to have?”
The answer is yes. And I don’t take a second of it for granted.
💭 So I’m asking you now:
What brings you joy?
When’s the last time you felt connected, alive, and grateful—just for being where you are?
Lots of love,
-Anna
