Now I’m all out there looking for my job.

THE CHALLENGE

When Heather first reached out, she was at a standstill. She was searching for her next role, but without a clear sense of direction, she found herself looking at everything and anything; unable to pinpoint what she actually wanted. Time was passing, and the pressure was mounting. She needed to get back to meaningful work, and she was worried about the financial and emotional cost of staying stuck much longer.

Underneath the search itself was something deeper: a fear of getting burned again by an employer, and a nagging sense that her self-worth was tied up in the outcome. She needed more than a job search strategy. She needed clarity.

THE TRANSFORMATION

Through coaching, Heather moved from flailing to focused. Working through her emotional intelligence assessment helped her understand her emotions and how she responds to them, giving her tools she could put into practice in real time. Exploring her life purpose brought a level of clarity she hadn’t expected; not just for her job search, but for how she wants to move through her life.

She learned to identify her fears instead of being ruled by them, using that awareness to filter opportunities and focus only on what would truly be the right fit. She began noticing her feelings as they came up, rather than after the fact, and started trusting that wherever she was in the moment, “this too shall pass.”

I got the tools to get through being stuck, and I’m excited about this next stage of my
life and what’s ahead of me.

TOP LESSONS

  • Connecting with feelings and emotions in the moment, not after
  • This too shall pass: trusting the toolkit to get through what’s stuck
  • Staying open to what’s ahead, even without every answer yet
