I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with the Women in Communications & Technology community this week, and I’m still buzzing from the energy in the room.
I was blown away by the brilliance, engagement, and genuine support shared among the women who attended. From thoughtful questions to vulnerable reflections, their willingness to dig deep made the session incredibly special.
Together, we explored three science-backed strategies to strengthen confidence and leadership presence:
✅ Developing emotional intelligence
✅ Reducing negative self-talk
✅ Learning to fail fast
The conversations were rich, the exercises were meaningful, and the collective wisdom in the room was remarkable.
Here’s a sample of the beautiful feedback shared:
“This was an absolutely great session. Wow… too short! Enjoyed every moment of it. Thanks to Anna for sharing her story openly & authentically.”
“The most delightful part was noticing how small mindset shifts can instantly change my energy — when I practiced looking at things through a more compassionate and curious lens instead of judgment.”
“EVERYTHING — I had never learned about EQ. I will definitely dig into it some more.”
“This well researched, well paced, engaging workshop was excellent. I had the opportunity to share Anna’s definition of confidence and her recommendation to use the 5-Second Rule (à la Mel Robbins) with a colleague immediately following, who said she’ll now put both into use too!
“This was fantastic!”
It was a true honor to hold space for such a powerful group of women.
Grateful for the opportunity and excited to continue empowering women to own their voice, lead with confidence, and amplify their impact.
