For me, it was 2019. I was blindsided by a painful divorce while raising a three- and five-year-old.
The life I thought I’d built forever suddenly collapsed. I remember lying awake, wondering how I would ever feel happy again.
My last family vacation before that chapter closed was to Phoenix, Arizona in 2018. Back then, the city’s name didn’t mean much to me. Today, it means rebirth.
🌵 Fast-forward seven years, and I’m back in Phoenix for the first time since then. Hiking Camelback Mountain, feeling the warmth of the desert sun, and realizing how much I’ve changed. From the summit, the world stretched wide below me, and I thought: the greatest adversity brings the deepest wisdom.
Days after that last family trip In 2018, I got a phoenix tattoo on my left ankle, a symbol of renewal, with two pink flowers representing my two children.
Even though shared custody means I’ve missed half their childhood, they’re always with me. Their love and laughter are the heartbeat behind everything I do.
🐦🔥 Over the past six years, I’ve been on a profound healing journey, one that became the foundation of my Phoenix Transformation Method, the science-based framework I now use with my clients.
Here’s what those steps look like:
💫 Aligning your life with your core values – so your choices reflect what truly matters.
💫 Developing emotional intelligence – learning to respond, not react.
💫 Reducing reactivity – creating space between trigger and response.
💫 Breaking free from self-sabotage – quieting your saboteurs and stepping into possibility.
💫 Setting healthy boundaries – protecting your energy and peace.
💫 Sticking to healthy habits – building consistency through self-care.
💫 Cultivating self-compassion and self-love – treating yourself like someone worth believing in.
💫 Finding your life purpose – transforming pain into meaning and direction.
Standing at the top of Camelback Mountain, I felt immense gratitude for my new life, my clients, my children, and the woman I’ve become.
Because like the phoenix, I didn’t just survive the fire. I was reborn from it.
